Sound Prints

Listen to Sound Prints, a weekly audio magazine brought to you by the Kentucky Council of the Blind. Sound Prints covers news, issues, products and resources of interest to blind and visually impaired people. Hosted by KCB Treasurer Carla Ruschival, the magazine features a mix of local, state and national topics, all discussed by a wide range of guests from around the United States. Listen to Sound Prints in one of the following ways:
  • ACB Radio Mainstream at www.acbradio.org or on the phone at 605-475-8130 - Sundays at 10:00 PM Eastern and repeated every other hour through Mondays at 8:00 PM.
  • Central Kentucky Radio Eye - Saturday at 1:00 and 9:00 p.m.; Sunday at 5:00 a.m. CKRE is a radio reading service originating in Lexington and heard throughout central Kentucky and the Louisville area. Find out more about CKRE here.
  • Sound Prints is now available as a podcast from the KCB website. Add kentucky-acb.org/soundprints.xml to your favorite podcast device and you won't miss a single show.
  • Listen any time here on the KCB website by clicking the listen or download link below.
  • Can't listen on the Internet? Do you know someone who would enjoy Sound Prints, but he or she can't use a computer? No problem. Sound Prints is available on audio CD. Just email us at kcb@kentucky-acb.org or call us at 502-895-4598 and we will be happy to mail a copy of the magazine each week, free of charge.
