Debbie:

I started thinking about this, and actually I was incorrect. According
to a few sources on the internet, "th" or "st" are only used when as a
stand-a-lone reference or when proceeding the month i.e. "We'll meet on
the 27th", or "the 27th of October."  This has also been corrected.
