LoganTech with its suggested, custom-made, carrying case totals $845. 
The Kentucky Assistive Technology Loan Corporation (KATLC) offers low 
interest loans for the purchase of technology to assist the visually 
disabled but as I care for my son on a fixed income I would benefit 
greatly from a grant thus reducing the needed amount for the loan to 
cover. So any assistance given would be greatly appreciated.*
Why are you applying for this grant? *As previously stated the purchase 
price for her needed item is $845 and this is under the assumption, as 
stated by a LoganTech representative, that sales tax can be avoided as 
this item is exclusively for the use of the visually disabled. A loan 
for the entire purchase price would place a terrible burden on my son 
and I though this item is greatly needed.*
