Also a misspelling or two, such as waved instead of waived (near the end) and with in instead of within a couple of times. Also commas before etc.; not needed.

The form needs spaces to check for the yes/no questions and some other formatting. When all the wording is final, I suggest we have Patti format it in large print, adding the check spaces and other lines as needed. I always have her do that for everything I distribute such as registration forms or newsletters, even if it is digital. I will need to mark everything up for the website, and the formatting and mark-up can both happen on Monday night or Tuesday morning after the Board meeting. When I mark up, I can give it one last proofread at the same time and fix those little spelling and punctuation things if you want. I assume you will need the link to the page on the website for your Facebook announcement, plus the file which you will send to people on request. That can all happen Tuesday.

Finally, there is an inconsistency in the visual references. We state legally blind throughout, but then define what we want as 20/70 vision near the end. Legal blindness is 20/200; 20/70 is visual impairment. I personally prefer visual impairment, because legal blindness leaves out many of our low vision members, but we just need to be consistent and do one or the other. There is also an incomplete sentence that begins with the word "or" and refers to the Visual Verification form.
Hope this helps.

Carla

On Sep 12, 2019, at 12:09 AM, Matt Selm via Kcb-board <kcb-board@kentucky-acb.org> wrote:

Everyone:

Okay, attached is what I believe to be the final version of this grant application.
