About KCCLV

Are you having vision problems due to diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa etc.? Do you sometimes feel as if you are the only person out there with vision problems, and the rest of the world just doesn’t understand that you don’t see so good? The Kentucky Council of Citizens with Low Vision (KCCLV) is just for you. KCCLV is a chapter of the Kentucky Council of the Blind and the Council of Citizens with Low Vision International. KCCLV’s virtual support groups let you share tips and ideas for living with low vision, no matter where you call home. Programs include speakers such as low-vision specialists, doctors, and service providers. Discover low-vision devices and services that might be helpful to you.

KCCLV holds a business meeting at 8 PM (Eastern Time)on Zoom on the first Wednesday of each month and a support call at 8 PM on The third Wednesday. We also have an in-person support group meeting on the second Saturday of the month in Louisville from 10 AM to 12:30 (Eastern Time) at United Crescent Hill Ministries at 150 S. State Street. Anyone is welcome to attend.
