JOIN THE KCB TEAM

KCB and its chapters help people with vision loss learn about services, products and resources that improve their daily lives. KCB supports expanded audio description so blind people can enjoy TV and movies. KCB works for increased web accessibility, more accessible medical devices, improved training and rehabilitation services, braille and large print and talking prescription labels, and pedestrian safety. Our newsletter and weekly Sound Prints podcast, in-person and virtual telephone support groups, chapter meetings and statewide convention combine to touch the lives of people with vision loss throughout the state. It’s a chance for you to get to know other people with vision loss and an opportunity to make new friends, whether you can attend chapter, state and national events in person, by phone or not at all. 

Help us make a difference. If you are not already a 2024 or life member of the Kentucky Council of the Blind, take a few minutes now to become part of the KCB team. All are welcome, whether you are 18 or 88, or blind, visually impaired, or fully sighted. Dues are only $8.00 for one year or $40.00 for a life membership.
